If you’re a sophomore, you need to complete your Honors contract by the end of the semester to retain Honors status. Contact your Newark advisor or one of the A&S advisors listed below. If you’re transitioning to Columbus, you also need to fill out Honors application paperwork to remain in Honors.

Registering for Research Credit for Summer and/or Autumn
Keep in mind that there is a $100 Late Course Add Fee assessed for any course (including research!) added after the second week of a regular semester. In summer, different deadlines apply, depending on the session for which you enroll. The Late Course Add Fee goes into effect as of the following dates for the following summer classes (see http://registrar.osu.edu/registration/index.asp for complete list of add deadlines for various summer sessions):
Summer First 4-Week Session: Saturday, May 14, 2016
Full Summer Term: Saturday: May 21, 2016
To register for research credit, have your PI/faculty member sign a Course Enrollment Permission form (available in 3180 Smith Lab or here: http://aschonors.osu.edu/research)
Second-Year Students: Honors Contracts Due by End of Spring Semester
The Honors Contract is required for graduation with honors in the Arts and Sciences: http://aschonors.osu.edu/honors/contract. Students in the Arts and Sciences Honors Program must submit an Honors Contract by the end of Spring Semester of the second year in order to maintain membership in the Honors Program.

5. Already Have an Approved Honors Contract?: Keep It Up-to-Date! Don’t Forget to Revise Your Honors Contract!
Honors Contract Revision Forms are available in the ASC Honors Office and at http://aschonors.osu.edu/honors/contract and http://aschonors.osu.edu/forms. If you are adding an entire major or minor (or changing a major to a minor or vice versa) please submit a new Major/Minor Program Form instead of the Honors Contract Revision Form: http://aschonors.osu.edu/forms.
6. Thesis Application
If you are planning to start a thesis project (or if you have already begun work on your thesis project) and you intend to graduate at the end of Autumn Semester 2016 or Spring Semester 2017, plan to submit your Thesis Application to the ASC Honors Office by the relevant deadline (as soon as possible for Autumn 2016 graduates; no later than September 16, 2016, for Spring 2017 graduates).
