FAQS and Tutorial

Who is my advisor?

On your Buckeyelink account, located on the right hand side, there is a box titled “Advisor.” When you click on the box, the name of the advisor and his/her email address will open.   If you do not yet have an advisor listed, one will be assigned to you prior to the start of your first semester.

How do I complete a to-do list item on Buckeyelink?

Each student on their Student Center in Buckeyelink has a section for a To-do List and Holds. Items on a student’s To-Do List, if not completed, may become Holds and prevent you from being able to complete important tasks such as being able to register for classes.

Be sure to complete all items on your To-Do List as soon as you notice them to ensure no holds appear on your account.  It is important to check your Student Center on Buckeyelink regularly to ensure you resolve any issues in a timely manner.  These lists will have hyperlinks that lead to information on how to resolve the Hold or To-Do List Item.
