- Pre– Nursing students are expected to achieve and maintain a minimum Ohio State cumulative grade point average of a 3.2. Those that fall below the minimum GPA at the end of spring semester will be dismissed from the Pre-Nursing major.
- The academic advising staff will review student records at the end of each academic semester to ensure Pre-Nursing students are meeting the 3.2 Ohio State GPA requirement.
- Students below the minimum GPA requirement at the end of spring term will be notified via email from the Office of Student Affairs and Success. The email will notify the student of his/her dismissal from the Pre- Nursing major. At that time students will be instructed to change to a new major offered at Ohio State. Students will be prevented from registering for courses in future terms until they change majors.
- Those that are dismissed from the Pre-Nursing major may still apply to the BSN program in a current or future admissions cycle if they meet the admissions requirements.
