My Semester at OSU

\My first semester here at Ohio State has honestly been my prime time. I have met so many new people of all sorts, faced fears, tried new things, and so much more. I came into Ohio State very closed minded with the fear of not making friends or being homesick but in reality I have barely even wanted to return home. I still have the fear of my next few years here and how I will manage being away from home but its only 2 hours away. More importantly coming here gave me a chance to find Humanities Scholars, and finding Humanities Scholars gave me a change to find myself and explore so many different things. I am no longer in a shell isolated from everyone else but now I have no fear of taking new risks or coming out of my shell. I cannot wait to see what Humanities Scholars has in store for next year. I hope to bring more ideas and hopefully come up with a great project for my second year in the program. I want to grow in the scholars as a student and adult learning new things. It makes everyone want more for themselves and for those around them. The people of humanities have no bad vibes and if it was up to me I would love to stay in Baker again just to be surrounded by the same amazing positivity around me that I had this semester. My first semester of college was truly amazing.

Year in Review

I have officially come to the end of my first year of college. As I deal with finals Ive realized that school is no longer a breeze for me where can just skim over one paper and ace a test, but finals in college are the real deal. But with work and prayer these test are nothing I cant accomplish. This past school year has been amazing. Ive lost friends, and gained even more, laughed more than I cried, learned that adults need naps too, and made memories that I could never forget. The week before school started I sat in my room not even sure if I would make it through my first semester at Ohio State, let alone a whole year. But I am looking forward to the next 4 years that ill be here and I cant wait to experience the ride.
