Who are the Student Ambassadors?

Student Ambassadors are leaders and role models within the College of Nursing that exemplify the values and mission of the College: To dream, discover, and deliver a healthier world. They are outgoing individuals excited to share their experiences and to promote our programs. Ambassadors are current students from across all of our undergraduate or graduate degree programs.

What do Students Ambassadors do?

Ambassadors volunteer their time at programing throughout the school year as a representative of the current student body. Programs will be through the College of Nursing’s offices of recruitment, alumni, development, diversity, etc. and the Ambassadors will talk with prospective nursing students and their families, College alumni, prospective donors, and industry partners. They will participate in college fairs, nursing conferences, recruitment efforts, and special events hosted at the College of Nursing.

New Ambassadors will be required to participate in a training session to learn the best methods for representing the College. The group will meet twice a semester to discuss the efforts of the program and all Ambassadors will be required to participate in at least 2 events each Fall and Spring semester to remain in the program.
