Created by Dr. John S. Pemberton in 1886, Coca-Cola is a product enjoyed by billions on a daily basis to this day.  The first samplings of Coca-Cola cost just a mere five cents per glass. Today Coca-Cola serves approximately 1.9 billion people around the world daily!  The Coca-Cola brand is one easily identified throughout the world and is a well known sponsor of world class athletes, as well as joins another well known entities such as McDonald’s to create a global partnerships. Coca-Cola can be found in many fast food trains across the world.  Dr. Pemberton died in 1888, just two years after the creation of Coca-Cola he luckily sold portions of his business to various parties who helped turn it into what it is today. Joseph Biedenharn was the first person to put Coca-Cola in a bottle. And just a few years later, bottling expanded into what it is today after a few more men secured rights to bottle the product. It was in 1916 that the iconic glass Coca-Cola bottle was approved and in 1977 that the contour bottle was trademarked.  That bottle can be identified by any of us, anywhere.
