Lululemon transports their products by land, sea and air. Interestingly enough, products that travel by air have a footprint of almost a hundred times more than the products that travel by sea. Although the majority of lululemon’s products travel by sea – about 75%, the remaining percentage still results in a much higher carbon footprint due to being transported by air. Lululemon is partnered with a company called Damco – a logistics provider. The goal in their partnership with this company is to reduce their carbon footprint by shipping their products more quickly and efficient. Damco has offices 10 or more offices in each of these areas – Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, Oceania and South America. Their headquarters is located in the Netherlands.
