The trees that grow on the farms for Florida’s Natural are not normal orange trees that one would grow in their backyard. They are specialized from the moment they are planted with one seed from a tree that has a high yield of oranges. Once the tree is large enough shots from a full grown tree are grafted onto the new tree causing the tree to grow much faster and with more biodiversity allowing it to be resistant to more strains of bacteria. This new tree will mature to fruit bearing age at a much accelerated pace and can see fruit within three years compared to the ten to fifteen years a normal growing process could see.
