Note: older cohorts are more likely than younger cohorts to hold a Heroic rather than a Simple Traditional view of Columbus (odds ratio > 1.25, p = .003). This provides evidence of a decline over time in honorific characterizations of Columbus.”

Abstract: This source talks about the opinion of the people and what they think about Columbus and his actions. It is important to consider this because even though the public wouldn’t be considered a primary source, it is important to understand where the majority stands in terms of the opinions of him.
