Infant Participants (6-25 months)
Our infant research is done in 3 parts. First, you will be asked to fill out a short word survey to help us understand at what point during the first 25 months of life an infant acquires certain verbal knowledge. Next, you and your child will watch a short (no more than 10 minute) video. Last, if your child is up for it, you can participate in a short (5 minute) heart-rate study. You will be with your child throughout the entire appointment!
Child Participants (3-11 years)
Our in lab child research is conducted with a few different technologies. Your child could be asked to participate in either an EEG, Eye tracking, or laptop/touch screen “game”. Non EEG studies generally take anywhere from 15-30 minutes to play. While the EEG study game will take about the same amount of time, we take into account the setup time.
