The Herman E. Wening and Elisabeth F. Wening Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Herman E. Wening and Elisabeth F. Wening Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in February 1979 from the estate of Elisabeth Wening of Pompano Beach, Florida, in memory of her husband, Herman Wening. Herman was from Dayton, Ohio and earned his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Ohio State in 1925. During his time on campus he served as President of the Tertulia Council.

This is a need-based scholarship for undergraduate and graduate students in the College of Engineering.
