This scholarship was established by Leta and is awarded to students in the electrical engineering program.
Howard and Leta were both graduates of Ohio State. Howard received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1929 from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Leta received her Bachelor of Science degree in 1935 from the Department of Home Economics Education in the College of Education and Human Ecology. Howard passed away in 1998 and Leta passed in 2005 at the age of 99. In addition to this scholarship, Leta also created a scholarship in the College of Education and Human Ecology.
