James Clark is a third year Eminence Fellow at The Ohio State University from Dayton, Ohio. He currently pursues a major in Neuroscience and minors in Public Health and Spanish. On campus, James is involved with a diverse set of experiences: cancer research under Dr. Steve Clinton, consulting and leadership development with Buckeye Leadership Fellows, anti-human trafficking efforts with his co-founded service initiative Enlighten, and community improvement through OSU’s oldest student organization, Ohio Staters Incorporated. He also sits as a voting member on the Student Health Insurance Advisory Committee. Additionally, he has served as a clinical volunteer and published research assistant at Dayton Children’s Hospital. In his personal time, James enjoys writing poetry, reading philosophy, watching movies, and fitness. After undergraduate studies, he hopes to attend medical school and also attain an Masters in Public Health to devise, implement, and sustain solutions to complex health issues. His research passions include how nutritional interventions affect health outcomes, the health impact of hazardous chemicals, and traumatic neurological injuries.  Feel free to contact James with any questions you may have or simply to get to know him better.
