Get Involved

You can submit questions to be sent to OSU representatives of the plant here. The same form can be used to be added to our email list and group chat.

Thank you to everyone who joined our protests in October and November, as well as all the students, staff, faculty, and community members that have been using their voices to speak out about this plant. Even though construction has already started, we can still improve or shut down this plant if OSU determines it to be necessary. If you’re interested in joining, here are some action items for you!

Come to our next protest!

Protest the Gas Plant - Students Deserve a Say. Join us on Thursday, April 15th at 2:00pm at Bricker Hall. Our Demands to OSU: 1. Update carbon neutrality goal to 2035. 2. Conduct more extensive environmental and health impact studies. 3. Consider environmental injustices associated with fracking that disproportionately harm poor and BIPOC communities. 4. Halt Construction until demands are met. For more information, visit u.osu.edu/chpplant

Feel free to share the flier in any group chats, email lists, or with any friends!

A resolution proposing major improvements that will decrease the emissions of the plant is currently being reviewed in University Senate and will hopefully be up for a vote this semester. If you’d like to express your concerns about the CHP plant to a University Senator, you can use the template below.
