Global Awareness: One way I want to engage myself in the global community is that I eventually want to study abroad. I would love to go to someplace in Europe because I’ve been so curious to that part of the world.

Original Inquiry: I have been looking for many opportunities to start getting involved in research as soon as possible. I want to be able to get into a neuroscience type lab because that is what I am most passionate about. I plan to start research next semester once more available spots are open in the labs i want to be on.
Academic Enrichment: I want to be able to find time to join the pre-med club. This will help be able to engage with others that have the same goal as me and can help me work through with all my prerequisites for medical school.
Leadership Development: This year I participated in the leadership collaborative through Ohio State and I learned so much. I learned about my own strengths, skills and values to help engage others in anyway possible. I was able to learn about how to get others to be involved in the college community and help transition into the university level.
Service Engagement: The last four years I have been able to volunteer through a group called buddy up in which we help individuals with down syndrome get exercise and learn and play the game of tennis. I want to get involved with the Columbus branch of this so that i can get re-involved with the program i have loved the past four years.
