S.M.A.R.T. Goal Setting Strategy

SMART goal setting strategy is one of the ways to set a goal for individuals.

S of the SMART stands for specific which makes goal become more detailed rather than the general and big, long term goal. People should consider what, why, who, where, and which.

M of the SMART stands for measurable which will help you not to derail from the path without delay. Measurable is related to amount of work to do and how to figure out that it is done or not.

A of the SMART stands for achievable which will distinguish that it is possible or impossible. Also, too easy to achieve would be priceless to set a goal. So it is basically checking that it is worth to attain and possible.

R of the SMART stands for relevant which is essential to set a goal. If it is relevant, you could answer that it is worthwhile or not, it is right time to do and what kind of efforts are required to achieve.

T of the SMART stands for time-bound which is checking the deadline of the goal. It is also help to check that which goal should be achieved first or which work takes priority among the works to do.
