Our rationale for choosing this condition:

We share a particular interest in childhood asthma because it is a very common disease that we all will frequently encounter in our future practices as clinical nurse practitioners. It affects many children and can lead to lifelong complications.  Managing the disease begins with education and providing quality education to patients is key in health management.
