This poster introduces three major negative emotions that influence Asian students. And I totally agree because I often have these three emotions:anxiety, depression, and disappointment especially when exam is coming. In addition, loneliness often brings those negative emotions to me. After reading this poster, I find some ways to overcome negative emotions: find my advisor or friends to communicate, try to fixed the life rhythm, and improve my independent ability.

I totally agree with you guys since I feel anxiety and depression are the most negative emotion I experienced during my freshmen year. Academic problems and language barriers always drove me into infinity anxiety and depression, and I solved them as some solutions the poster stated. I think this is a very helpful poster for freshmen, and I will try these solutions when I met problems in the future.

I quite agree with the three negative emotions that affect Asian students as described in your poster. They are anxiety, disappointment and depression. I often do not want to face loneliness. When I am alone, I can’t find what I can do at ease. Therefore, I have such negative emotions. Your group’s homework is very helpful to me. I found effective ways to overcome negative emotions. I will focus on how to improve my abilities in all aspects, and I will also keep in touch with friends who can make friends with me. In this way, I can improve myself when I am alone and socialize in a better way.

The control of negative emotions has always been a very important issue. Like the anxiety mentioned. It has a characteristic that it tends to be fuzzy and diverging. It is a sense of uncertainty and helplessness in the face of potential threats. Unlike fear, anxiety often has no specific object. The reason that anxiety is so paralyzing is that it’s where we hide the things we most want. In relationships, the gap between high expectations and reality can lead to anxiety. In human relationships, on the one hand, we are endlessly dependent on others. Only their acceptance and affection can make us feel safe. On the other hand, we secretly believe that everyone is unreliable, that we are excluded, and sometimes exaggerate or even fabricate hostile attitudes. Beyond relationships, demanding too much self-worth can also lead to intense anxiety. I am often haunted by negative emotions as well, and I think this is a vital poster.
