March 11th & 12th Graduate Student Host Assignments

A graduate student has been assigned to each of you to act as a host on both Friday afternoon and during the day on Saturday. Host assignments can be found here.

Your Friday hosts have been instructed to contact you before the end of the day on Wednesday, March 9th. If you do not hear from your host, feel free to either email them directly or email me and I will connect you.

You will be matched with your host at 3:30PM in CBEC 130 on Friday, March 11th. Please also keep in touch with your host on Friday afternoon if you run late due to travel delays.

On Saturday, your host will meet you at 10:30AM outside of the location of your divisional meeting (locations are indicated on the Schedule of Events) and will take you to your meetings that morning and in the afternoon.

Before then, your host will have been notified about the facilities tours you selected to attend. As a reminder, the tours that are being offered are:

-Center for Chemical and Biophysical Dynamics in room 0140 (in the basement) of Newman Wolfrom Lab and X-Ray Diffraction Facility in the basement of Evans.

-The NMR lab in the basement of the Chemical, Biomolecular Engineering, and Chemistry building.

-The Mass Spectrometry and Proteomics facility in the Biomedical Research Tower.

In addition to seeing the facilities above, the time between 3:15 PM and the poster session at 5:30PM can also be used to tour your host’s lab, meet their group members, tour campus, et al. If there are specific things you want to do or see, please tell your host. They are available to help you make the most of your visit!

If I can answer any questions about hosts, please don’t hesitate to email me at Rodgers.271@osu.edu or call me at 614-292-5577.
