Visitors who requested lodging will be staying at the Blackwell hotel. Hotel information will be sent out on Monday, March 4th. Please contact Nick immediately if you do not receive an email with your information. You will have another visiting student as a roommate for the weekend.
Room charges for all visitors have been paid by CBC, but please be prepared to provide a credit card when you check in to cover incidentals (e.g. room service). Any charges incurred for parking at your assigned hotel between March 11th and 12th can be reimbursed by CBC with required documentation (a receipt showing the fee paid).
Because the first event of the visitation weekend conflicts with official hotel check-in time (3PM at the Blackwell), please plan to arrive a little earlier in the afternoon to check in at the hotel, but leave your bags with the concierge if your room is not ready when you check in.
– If you are staying at the Blackwell: the poster session on Friday evening will be held on the 2nd floor of the Pfahl Hall, which is connected to the Blackwell. You can get to the poster session by taking the elevator outside of Bistro 2110 at the Blackwell to the second floor. You can retrieve your bags and stop by your room between 5PM and 5:30PM before the poster session begins.
If you did not request a hotel reservation for Saturday night, please check out of the hotel on Saturday morning before departing for visitation weekend activities so as to avoid being charged for another night’s stay.
Official check-out time on Sunday at the hotel is 12PM.
