Hi, I am a freshman taking gen chem this semester and need to purchase a lab coat. My chem lab is Monday January 10th at 8am and I know the store is only open Monday-Friday. I’m not sure what I should do as I move back in Sunday the 9th. My brother attends Ohio State as well and is already back at school, would he be able to purchase the coat and goggles for me? Thanks so much.
Hi Peyton! That would be totally fine for your brother to purchase your lab coat for you (your goggles will be provided for you already). That being said, we are open at 7:45 for exactly this reason. If your brother can’t buy your lab coat for you, you can always stop in right before your lab
Hi. I am taking my first Chemistry course this week. I won’t be on campus until the 9th. I tried to order a lab coat for the lab, but I don’t see the option to do so. Will it be open tomorrow? Would it be possible to buy the lab coat directly without placing an order?
Sorry Siddharth, but you cannot order a lab coat. We are also only open Monday through Friday. We will open at 7:45 on Monday the 10th to accommodate students with 8:00 AM labs. We are also only just downstairs from the lab rooms themselves (we’re located on the first floor of Celeste)
I plan on stopping by Tuesday (1/11) morning 7:45am. Do you have a large supply of lab coats? Is there a chance that I will get there and you will not have a lab coat to purchase?
Hi! My chemistry class does not recommend that I come in to purchase a lab coat right before my lab this tuesday but I will not be able to return to campus until that morning, are there still plenty of lab coats available?

I have a lab coat from a previous Clinical Research Coordinator who is no longer at this university. It was hardly worn, and I would like to get their name removed and replaced with my name since I now hold the position and require a lab coat. Is there any way to have this service performed, and if so, what would the cost of the name removal/replacement, lead time, and the way to deliver the coat to you, if applicable?
