Registration Deadline is Approaching for the 2025 Ohio State Materials and Manufacturing Conference

The Institute for Materials and Manufacturing Research (IMR) welcomes you to join us at the 2025 Ohio State Materials and Manufacturing Conference. Time is running out to register for this free event featuring two days of research and networking.

 

The event will showcase materials-allied research in a series of sessions organized by leading research centers at Ohio State. University faculty, staff and students, as well as government and industry researchers and leaders, are invited to join us for MMC ’25, which will include a poster session, keynote session, and technical talks covering a wide range of advancements in key areas of science and technology.

MMC ’25 will welcome keynote speaker Dr. Richard A. Vaia, Chief Scientist in the Materials and Manufacturing Directorate at the Air Force Research Laboratory, as well as dozens of external speakers and researchers from the Ohio State materials and manufacturing community. Session topics include Materials Science, Technology & Manufacturing in Space and Harsh Environments; Wide Bandgap and Ultra-Wide Bandgap Semiconductors; The Heart of the Second Quantum Revolution; Materials Discovery and Development in the Center for Emergent Materials; AI-Driven Digital Twin Modeling for Next-Generation Battery Manufacturing; and Characterizing Next-Generation Materials with Cutting-Edge Electron Microscopy Techniques.
