Graduate Student Experience Survey Launching on March 17

After spring break, all graduate students will be receiving an email invitation to take the 2025 Graduate Student Experience Survey (gradSERU). gradSERU, which stands for the Graduate Student Experience in the Research University, is a way for students to provide confidential feedback on their experiences as a graduate students at The Ohio State University.

In order to continue to make changes that will improve their experiences at Ohio State, we need to hear from as many graduate students as possible. At a minimum, we need at least 10 students from any given program to be able to report the data associated with that program.

The survey will launch on March 17 and the Graduate School will be sending out another message at that time with support materials that you can share with your faculty and students to support the survey. If you have questions about the survey and data, please email Carly Logan – logan.565@osu.edu and Andrew Blatter – blatter.19@osu.edu . For questions or support with digital marketing, please email Matt Swift – swift.23@osu.edu.

If you or your program would like to partner with the Graduate School to support engagement with the survey, please fill out the following quick online Qualtrics and we will be in touch to connect with you and make future plans: Graduate Student Experience Survey Partnership Survey

As a final note, I’d like to reiterate that gradSERU is a confidential survey. Neither The Ohio State University nor any college/program will have access to identifiable response data. We take student’s feedback and responses seriously so that we can learn how we’re doing and make adjustments that result in a better graduate education experience.
