Looking for a Spring Break adventure? Interested in a career at a dynamic global healthcare company? Join ASC’s Career Trek to Merck over Spring Break!

Merck is inviting Life Sciences students to join them in their labs in Kenilworth, New Jersey, on Tuesday, March 10th from 9:45 am to 3:00 pm. career opportunities. Labs included in the tour will be the Bio NMR lab, the HTE lab (chemistry), and the Cell culture labs. You will also have a chance to shadow a Merck scientist in their high throughput screening labs, analytical method development labs, & mass spectrometry labs.

Transportation to and from the event is the students’ responsibility, so if you don’t have a car then get a friend with one to join you on this road trip! NOTE: You must provide your own transportation to and from New Jersey for this trek (see below for an ASC financial assistance opportunity). You can learn more about Merck here: .

For those who may need financial assistance to cover gas, there is a travel grant available to undergraduates and graduate students (masters and Ph.D only; sorry Post-Docs). The grant varies from $25 to $100, depending on the distance you trek from campus. Travel grants are awarded after you attend the trek and complete the required online form. Undergraduates are also required to meet with a Career Coach within 5 weeks after the trek to receive your travel grant.
