Project Nature Newsletter and Lecture Series – February Issue

The Project Nature Lecture Series, affiliated with the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Graduate Student Association, is dedicated to informing of the many ways in which one could get involved in making a significant and meaningful contribution towards fighting climate change. More information about the lecture series is here and the February 2020 newsletter is attached. Past issues of the newsletter can be found here. You can also learn about ways to get involved with Project Nature here: https://u.osu.edu/maemega/project-nature-get-involved/

This month’s newsletter talks about IPCC – the United Nations body dedicated to studying climate change – and the key takeaways from its 2018 special report that was in the news.

The first Project Nature Lecture Series event of the new year will be held on Friday, February 21st at 12:15 PM in E100, Scott Lab, OSU. Join the curator of Orton Geological Museum at OSU, Mr. Dale Gnidovec, to learn about the geological history of Ohio. We will be webcasting the talk through OSU Zoom, so that if you can’t make it to the talk, you can still join us via the internet! You do not need an OSU account or a Zoom account to join the webinar. Follow the link below to join
