About Me

Hi my name is Sarah Chaudhry and I’m a first year student. I’m from Cincinnati, Ohio and I graduated with honors in the top 10% of my class at Walnut Hills High School. At Walnut, I received the AP Scholar with Distinction Award, Cum Laude Society Award, and was nominated for a Junior Book Award.  I’m a part of the STEM Exploration and Engagement Scholars Program at Ohio State and I’m studying Neuroscience with the intention of attending medical school and becoming a doctor specializing in cardiology. I strongly believe in helping those who may not have the resources they need whether its medical assistance, food, or education because every human being deserves these rights. Thus, when I become a doctor I would like to open free clinics and participate in Doctors without Borders. In high school, I was vastly involved in my community through tutoring, packaging food, and organizing drives for refugees. In addition, I was part of the Service Committee for my masjid’s youth group, canvasser for a city council candidate, and enjoyed volunteering in hospitals.  I plan on continuing these interest and passions by joining Osu votes, MEDLIFE, MSA and Pay it Forward at Ohio State.
