Grant Writing and Finding Funding Workshops

Please join us for two workshops on April 27, 2017, with Jeff Agnoli.  Registration is required for each session. See link below.

Finding Funding Workshop (SPIN)
April 27, 2017
10 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Wooster Campus – Fisher Conference Room (111)

Participants will learn strategies for finding funding with SPIN (funding opportunities database) and how to create and save searches that generate funding alerts. We will also discuss: additional funding strategies, tools for the identification of collaborators, preparing for a visit/talk with program officers, and how to access grant writing resources, e.g., sample proposals. We recommend bringing your laptop for this workshop.

Grant Writing: An Introduction
April 27, 2017
11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Wooster Campus – Fisher Conference Room (111)

Join us for this interactive workshop on grant writing. We will address some of the similarities and differences between the funding process from federal/state agencies and private foundations. Topics include best practices for seeking funding, including the SPIN Funding Opportunities system and other resources, and examples of writing that is both persuasive and clear. We recommend bringing your laptop for this workshop.
