Introducing STAR Lab

Service Testing and Research Laboratory (STAR lab) is a research oriented inorganic chemical analysis lab based in Williams Hall on the OARDC campus in Wooster; however, services are available to all OSU researchers and associates.

STAR Lab follows standard or generally accepted chemical analysis procedures and techniques to analyze sample materials including soils, plant tissues, animal tissue, composts, and water samples (analysis for other types of samples can be arranged as well).  The main focus is on the elemental analysis of samples for mineral and nutrient content.
