Denman Undergraduate Research Forum – Faculty Judges Needed

Dear Colleagues,

The Office of Undergraduate Education and the Undergraduate Research Office (URO) are pleased to announce the 21st Annual Denman Undergraduate Research Forum on Wednesday, March 30, 2016, beginning at 12:00 noon, at Ohio State’s Recreation and Physical Activity Center (RPAC), 337 West 17th Avenue, Columbus campus.

A call for faculty judges

With more than 600 students participating in the Forum, we need 500 faculty members across disciplines to judge the students’ undergraduate research projects. During a two-hour window at the Forum, faculty judges will meet with students to discuss their projects and creative endeavors. These discussions give students the opportunity of presenting their work while also providing them with feedback to enhance their learning experience.

Please consider serving as a Denman Forum faculty judge this year. To participate, register online by February 19. The URO will follow up with you to provide details. If you have questions about serving as a faculty judge, please contact URO program assistant Amanda Perrin.

Should you be unable to serve as a faculty judge this year, I encourage you to attend the Forum during the afternoon poster session. As you know, our students are engaging in exceptional research and artistic projects. Learn more about the Forum at denman.osu.edu.

Thank you for your support of Ohio State’s undergraduate research experience.

Sincerely,

Lorraine Silver Wallace, PhD
Director, Undergraduate Research Office
