Search Committees – Inclusive Excellence Training

Colleagues:

As part of our commitment to equity and inclusion I am requesting that all members of the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences community who participate as search committee members participate in a one hour training session focused on Inclusive Excellence. This session was originally developed for discovery theme searches. It has been well received and all college units are being asked to provide this opportunity for all faculty and staff who participate in the search process. CFAES has a great head start and have the highest numbers of attendees. To assist in accomplishing this goal, there are a variety of opportunities scheduled beginning January 8 through March 25. All sessions will be made available on Columbus and Wooster Campus. Register.

For our Extension colleagues you are welcome to Wooster or Columbus sessions. Regional Directors can work with Kathy Lechman(.1) to schedule opportunities for county based faculty, staff and volunteers who assist with educator searches.

Sincerely,

Ron Hendrick, Ph.D.
Acting Dean and Vice President

Terry Niblack, Ph.D.
Acting Sr. Associate Dean
