Do you remember the old Ohio Farm Labor Handbook by Dr. Bernie Erven? It’s been a very popular resource over the years, assisting Ohio’s farm businesses with understanding and complying with the laws, regulations and nuances of hiring farm labor. The old edition has become outdated, so it’s time to update our resources to continue to serve Ohio’s farm businesses in this area. An OSU Extension team has been revising the handbook and converting it to an online format with new sections and chapters relating to everything from hiring to termination.
