The DACUM International Training Center held a SCID Virtual Institute for learning and development professionals that guided them in the creation of curricular components using data from a DACUM job or occupational analysis. The institute took place over eight weeks: September 22 to November 14, 2025. There were 3 participants who completed six performance assignments: Task Analysis, Learning Objectives, Curriculum Outline, Curriculum Component (storyboard, slides, or on-the-job training manual), Performance Assessment, and Rubric.

The DACUM International Training Center held a SCID (Systematic Curriculum and Instructional Design) workshop at Los Alamos National Laboratories to train learning & development professionals in the SCID methodology for curriculum and training development. The training took place over 4.5 days: May 20-24, 2024. There were 15 trainees and they each produced a complete learning guide.
