How to Become a Member

To become a member of Scientific Thinkers, you must attend a mandatory orientation. There will be an orientation held at the beginning of the Fall and Spring semesters in the Physics Research Building.  Orientation information will be emailed out via academic advisors.

  • At the orientation, you will be required to fill out and sign a volunteer waiver, photo release form, and a minor policy form.
  • If you are unable to attend an orientation to complete these forms, please visit our forms page to view, print, and sign the forms. The completed copies should be brought to your make-up orientation, which is arranged by emailing scientificthinkers@gmail.com.

There are no dues for this organization, but to be considered an active member of the organization, you must attend a minimum of two Sci-T events per semester. This can include Parkmoor Visits, Mansion Day visits, Science Day, and other events at our partner schools to which we are invited.

For more detailed information regarding the student organization, you may view the Scientific Thinkers Constitution.
