Fifth Annual Women’s Summit Program
The Fifth Annual Women’s Summit was one of the final events for Women’s History Month. The Summit featured a series of programs concluding with a fashion show. The Women’s Summit was my primary responsibility as a member of the Women’s History Month Planning Committee. After hours of meetings, emails, and brainstorming we were able to create a holistic day dedicated to celebrating women. The Summit combined building confident, self-aware women and encouraging career aspirations and professionalism development. (see Summit Flyer for more information on programming)

This conference enabled me to meaningfully impact tother. Through connecting with others, supporting others, and being happy with whom I am I was able to inspire others to do the same. Can you imagine a world of individuals that connected, supported, and were comfortable in your own skin? Businesses would probably go out of business because there would no longer be problems to solve! The Women’s Summit and Women’s History Month Committee reminded me of how important it is to take a step back from the fullness of life and appreciate the small things like an empowering song or a conversation with a peer. I am incredibly thankful for this experience.
