Undergraduate Business Women’s Association

Undergraduate Business Women’s Association (UBWA) is a student organization on the Ohio State University’s campus that strives to empower women to grow professionally and personally. I joined UBWA during fall semester of my freshman year. After attending the meeting I decided  I really wanted to get involved. During my Freshman year, I was an outstanding member in my attendance to meetings, events, and community service. In addition, I was selected to be on the Buckeyethon planning committee.

After freshmen year, I was elected onto the executive board role as the VP of Web Programming and Social Media. During my role, I added multiple pages to UBWA’s website and worked to better market our organization. While serving on E-Board I had the amazing opportunity to attend a conference in Boston and a conference in Chicago.

I look forward to this coming year as I serve on E-Board again this year in the new position of VP of Membership Development. This coming year we will be planning the next Big Ten Conference in Atlanta, GE! I am excited to see what this role and year brings.
