Peer Mentoring Kick-off -August 2013/2014

The Fisher Direct Peer Mentoring Kick-Off is an annual event that launches Fisher Direct, a direct admit initiative to the business school, and FCP or Fisher Citizenship Program. After fulfilling the criteria, students qualify to be Fisher Direct as well as participants of FCP. One of the main benefits of FCP is receiving an upperclassmen mentor who can show you the ropes of the Fisher College of Business.

In 2013, I attended the Peer Mentor Kick-Off as a freshman excited to start the year off. In 2014, I attended the event as a member of the Undergraduate Leadership Engagement Office (ULEO). During my sophomore year I took a job at ULEO inside the Fisher College of Business. Working with ULEO has taught me so much about how to work with others, how to time manage, and how much work goes into the behind the scenes for events. I am so thankful to be a part of the Fisher College of Business family and even more thankful for experience within ULEO. It is so rewarding to look back at my time at the Ohio State University with pride and excitement for what I have learned and achieved. I look forward to being able to really use to give back and truly contribute to the college.
