Pace Setters 2017

Receiving award from Dean Anil Makhija

As mentioned in the Pace Setters Award Ceremony – February 2015 artifact, The Pace Setter award is an award that recognizes the top business students in the Fisher College of Business. After working two years to help plan the Pace Setters award ceremony through my work at ULEO, I was honored and surprised to be selected to be a Pace Setter this year. I am at a loss for words for what this honor means to me. I am flattered, empowered, and ultimately thankful.

I am so thankful for all the faculty, staff, friends, family, and opportunities that have gotten me to this award. Someone once told me that the ‘O’ in Ohio stood for opportunity. I thought it was a joke, I now realize that both of the ‘O’s in Ohio stand for opportunity. I am so thankful and humbled to be receiving this award with my fellow classmates. I look forward to the future in hopes that I can continue to make a positive impact and be the best version of myself.
