Women’s Cohort on the red carpet
The Celebrating Women through the Arts kicked off Women’s History Month of March. Celebrating Women through the Arts orbited a wide variety of visual artwork that expressed what it meant to various performers to identify as a woman. For this event, I ensured all the performers were prepared and knew how to transition between each piece. In addition, I supervised the sign in table.

This event was a beautiful segue between my interests in different perceptions that stem out of culture and my passion for empowering others, especially women. Not only was I able to pull from an art style different from the societal norm in America, but I could also connect and appreciate the artist in where I could learn and grow from them, then ultimately share with others.
