TEDxOhioStateUniversity – Horizons

TEDxOhioStateUniversity was founded in 2011 and hosted its first annual event in Spring of 2012. This year the organization will host its 10th annual main event and first ever fully virtual TEDx conference, Horizons. Although 2020 has posed challenges for everyone, TEDxOhioStateUniversity is looking forward and is ready to cross new horizons this spring.

The conference will consist of critically selected speakers who spread their ideas and innovations through short, yet powerful talks to a vast audience. The event features ideas from students, faculty, and alumni of the university. You can find a list of speakers on the organization’s website.

The event will take place on March 13th and 14th at 1:00pm each day. Registration is open and completely free!

TEDxOhioStateUniversity – Magnify

TEDxOhioStateUniversity will hold its annual event on February 22. The theme this year is Magnify. This theme comes from desire to highlight groundbreaking concepts as well as scrutinize the seemingly smallest of details on the TEDx stage.

There will be 12 speakers – a mix of professors, grad students, and undergrads who are all Ohio State affiliated speaking on a wide variety of topics spanning from animation techniques to cellular stress response.

Light breakfast and light lunch will be provided. On Saturday, February 22, registration and breakfast will begin at 10:30am. The conference will conclude at 4:15pm.

Tickets are $15 for students or $20 for non-students. Ticket sales end Saturday, February 22 at 10:00am.
