Chemical Lab Internship

The Shepherd Chemical Company is seeking chemistry-minded students in good academic standing from an accredited university or college to join our lab teams this summer. Shepherd is in the business of creating value and brightening the lives of our customers through developing and manufacturing specialty chemicals. This is a great opportunity for students who would like to gain experience in an industry setting and/or learn more about specialty chemicals.

The internship will be full-time for 10-12 weeks during the months of May – August. Start and end times may vary to align with school schedules. You will partner with lab professionals and others from various departments to move projects and products forward. At the end of the summer you will have the opportunity to share your learning through a formal presentation with members of the team and other interns.

Shepherd has internship opportunities available in its Quality Lab, Organics R&D Lab, and our Inorganics R&D Lab. Those applying for an internship will be considered for all three labs.

Lubrizol Summer Internship Opportunities

Lubrizol, a specialty chemical corporation focused on sustainability is offering three summer internship opportunities for undergraduate chemistry students. The internships available focus on synthetic chemistry, analytical chemistry, and thermal analysis. All of their internships are paid positions and are located at the global Lubrizol headquarters in Wickliffe, OH. Second-year chemistry majors are encouraged to apply!
