2022 DOE Scholars Program

The U.S. Department of Energy Scholars Program is accepting applications for undergraduate and graduate students, as well as recent graduates interested energy, science and technology, and environmental development.

This opportunity will allow you to work and learn alongside the DOE to support their mission’s in areas such as:

  • Energy and Nuclear Security
  • Environmental Responsibility
  • Cyber Security
  • Department Operations and Management
  • Technologic Advancements

This program offers a stipend, travel reimbursement, direct involvement in DOE research, and professional development opportunities.

Applications are due Monday, January 7, 2022 at 8 a.m. ET, and can be turned in at this link.

ACS Scholars Program

The ACS Scholars Program is more than just a scholarship, it’s a network of passionate chemical professionals who want to help and support future chemists during a crucial time in their lives.

The program is a community that dedicates itself to representing minority students from high school seniors to undergraduate students who want to study chemical sciences. Scholars are chosen based on career objective, academic standing, leadership skills, financial need and involvement in school or community activities.

Of the previous scholars in the ACS Scholars Program:

  • Over 300 have completed a Ph.D. program
  • More than 50% of alumni chose to purse higher degrees
  • 90% earned baccalaureate degrees with 80% in the chemical sciences
