Image result for nestleThe Nestlé Quality Assurance Center in Dublin, OH is seeking a Chemistry Intern for a three month, paid summer internship in the Chemistry Laboratory. The intern will be responsible for conducting testing for juice authenticity and nutritional labeling. These responsibilities include sample preparations, extractions, clean ups, proper work documentation, general laboratory support, and other duties as assigned.

Nestlé Quality Assurance Center (NQAC) is responsible for ensuring that all Nestlé products are safe and that the highest product safety is delivered to Nestlé’s customers. NQAC’s world class microbiological and food chemistry laboratories provide comprehensive testing services to all Nestlé factories, suppliers, and co-manufacturers in North America in order to ensure this quality assurance and product safety mission is continuously reached.

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 2 years of academic coursework completed (Junior or Senior Level) towards a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of lab safety
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Must be able to work in a team setting

Nestle is looking to hire a student from Ohio State who has completed at least two years of school, is working toward their Bachelor degree in either Food Science or Chemistry, and who is looking to work  in a laboratory setting ensuring the safety of food products. This is a paid position.
