Other qualifications include basic knowledge of safe handling of lab chemicals, data-management software skills, and experience in preparation of reagents.

Thus, this position works in close collaboration with the Chemical Hygiene and Lab Safety Officer to ensure best practices in safety, maintenance, and inventory control.
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree, at least two years of college chemistry, basic knowledge of inorganic and organic chemistry, and basic knowledge of safe handling and disposal of laboratory chemicals. A bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a closely related field is preferred.
