The Career Accelerator Fund (CAF) provides financial support for College of Arts and Sciences students participating in unpaid, minimally paid, or underpaid internships, undergraduate research, or experiential learning opportunities. You can learn more on the CAF website.

The application deadline for Summer 2024 opportunities is March 2, 2024. The application is found on Scholarship Universe. This is a university-wide platform and resource designed to aid in the search for available funding, awards, and scholarships.

The application deadline for Summer 2023 opportunities is March 31, 2023. The application requires multiple documents, so don’t delay if you want to apply. You can learn more on the CAF website.

CBC Scholarship Application – NOW OPEN

The online application for Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry undergraduate scholarships for the 2021-2022 academic year is now open! The application, along with eligibility information and a list of requirements can be found on the application webpage.

All applicants must include the information of a faculty member who has agreed to provide a recommendation; please be sure to get permission and agreement from the faculty member before listing them as your recommender.

Applications and recommendation forms must be completed by:
February 1, 2021, at 5pm.

CBC Scholarship Application – Opening Soon…

The 2021-2022 CBC Scholarship application will open on December 28, 2020. Applications and recommendation forms must be completed by February 1, 2021, at 5pm. 

To be eligible for a CBC scholarship, you must be seeking a BA or BS in Chemistry or Biochemistry and have completed at least one term of classes at The Ohio State University. Other requirements are listed here.

Awards will be distributed over the 2021-2022 academic year. The announcement of awards are typically made by the first week of April.
