On Thursday, November 15, the Chemistry and Biochemistry Club will be hosting a representative from the Chemical AbstractsService (CAS) to talk about CAS as well as job opportunities, both full time and part time.
The speaker, Molly Strausbaugh, leads a team of ~100 chemists and chemical engineers at CAS. As a division of the American Chemical Society, CAS works to partner with organizations to help solve business, content, technology, and resource challenges. The custom solutions CAS can deliver enable discovery and innovation. Many opportunities exist beyond the lab for chemistry and chemical engineering graduates. Molly leverages her bachelor’s degree in chemistry and an MBA to serve as a leader and active participant in global chemistry activities.
The event will be Thursday, November 15th, from 6:30pm-7:30pm in CBEC 330.
There will be catering from Panera Bread.
