Goldwater Scholarship Information Session

On Monday, October 16 at 2 pm via Zoom, the Undergraduate Fellowship Office is holding an information session and workshop for the Goldwater Scholarship and other STEM awards and internships for undergraduate students in their freshmen, sophomore, and junior years. They’ll discuss the objectives of the awards, eligibility requirements, and application components. Participants will also engage in guided brainstorming processes to generate content for application essays.

Registration for the event is required.

The Goldwater Scholarship is a prestigious award that recognizes outstanding sophomores and juniors with demonstrated commitment to research and academic excellence in sciences, engineering, and mathematics. The scholarship contributes $7,500 in educational expenses for undergraduate study per remaining year and sets awardees up for additional competitive awards in the future.

Competitive students will have a high GPA (3.8+), research experience, and intend to pursue a PhD and research career.
