Hertz Fellowship

The Hertz Foundation offers a few qualified candidates with the Hertz Fellowship each year, awarded to applicants that prove to be exceptional scientific and technical innovators. The Fellowship will ideally provide those awarded with the maximum possible freedom and encouragement to innovate in their graduate programs. This Fellowship is aimed toward graduate programs such as engineering, mathematics, and the physical, life and computational sciences. Unlike other Fellowships, the Hertz Foundation is prepared to provide five years of support for students.

Undergraduate Research Scholarship

The Undergraduate Research Scholarship and the International Research Grant for Undergraduates in the Arts and Sciences are scholarships ranging from $500 to $6,000. The Honors Committee does not require that applicants be members of the Arts and Sciences Honors Program; however, the committee generally gives preference to students who are candidates for graduation with research distinction or with honors research distinction, because they have demonstrated the sort of academic ability and commitment which indicates the likelihood of success in completing a major research project.
