SURI: West Virginia University Centers for Neuroscience

West Virginia University will be offering upwards of 15 internships this coming summer. They will be research intensive training and eligible to undergraduates who have completed their second or third year.

The internships are nine weeks long, with training in one of the following areas:

  1. Sensory, cognitive, and behavioral neuroscience
  2. Neural injury, including stroke
  3. Neurodegeneration
  4. Neuropsychiatric diseases

Participants will receive $4,000 and on-campus housing. To be considered, applicants must have a 3.0 GPA or better, be enrolled in a U.S. college or university, have a background in biology, neuroscience, physics, chemistry, engineering, or psychology, and complete the online application, resume, two letters of recommendation, and send in their official transcript.
