The Geography Bowl Competition, part of Geography Awareness Week 2015, will test students’ knowledge of geography trivia and give students the chance to win scholarship money. Teams of 3-5 are allowed to compete, as long as no more than 3 students in a team are geography, GIS, or atmospheric sciences majors.
Through multiple rounds of competition, four teams will advance to the championship rounds and compete for $1,750 in scholarship prizes.
This event will take place on Thursday, November 19 from 5-8:30 p.m. and Friday, November 20 from 5-6:30 p.m in Derby Hall 1080.
Food will also be provided.
The registration deadline is Friday, November 13.
