**COVID-19 POLICIES** Please see the changes to our policies due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Only trained and authorized users may operate the instruments. All training must be performed by the NMR facility staff. Only authorized users may access CBEC 092, CBEC 079, EL 0083, and EL 0086. Do not prop open these doors and do not let unauthorized persons into the lab. Untrained users may accompany a trained lab member, but may not be trained by lab members.
Users may not attempt unfamiliar experiments; contact NMR staff for training.
Report any problems to the NMR manager immediately so the situation can be resolved quickly.
Users must follow all Research Support Services policies in addition to the policies specific to the NMR facility.
NMR data is not backed up by the NMR facility staff, but rather will periodically be removed (with prior notice) in order to make space for future data. All users are responsible for archiving and removing their data from the NMR-drives.
All training requests and instrument scheduling should be submitted via the FOM calendar. Instructions on how to register to FOM are found here.

Please register here to complete the approval process and access the NMR facility calendar. All new users need to submit a request to be trained on the DPX 250 (for NMR access) OR the EMX-Plus (for EPR access). Requests for access to high field instruments may be submitted after the user becomes proficient with the software, department network, sample manipulations, and shimming procedure. Access to NMR spectrometers is granted based on proficiency as well as research needs.
OSU: OSU Users Outside of CBC
Please register here to complete the approval process and access the NMR facility calendar. NMR service (ie facility staff obtains data) is generally not provided and is determined case-by-case and as time allows. Access to the facility requires an ASC network account and BuckID access. Request an ASC Account from ASCTech, if you do not have one already.
